About Sabrina…

A woman with long blonde hair and a big smile sitting on a light-colored sofa in a living room. She is wearing a lavender top and a beige knitted cardigan. To her left, there is a white side table with a bouquet of purple flowers in a vintage-style watering can. Behind her, a beige cushion is visible. A tall floor lamp with a cream-colored shade and gold stand is positioned next to the sofa. The background features a white wall with a framed picture and part of a window showing autumn trees.
Hello!

Before the degrees and the decades of practice, I’m first and foremost human. I’m a wife and a mother of three nearly grown children. Parenting has been my greatest teacher—it was hard, there were many tears, but also a great deal of laughter as my children grew into the young adults they are now. My practice is not just shaped by a list of academic credentials - I bring a perspective rooted in real-world experience. I believe that our most transformative insights often come from the mistakes we have made and from learning how to heal ourselves when the mistakes others have made impact our lives.

Now for that academic stuff that qualifies me to practice as a therapist!

  • I have a diploma in Human Services

  • A 4-year degree in Social Work

  • A Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology

  • I’m a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the BC College of Social Workers

  • A Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside children, adults, couples, and families through some of their most difficult transitions. I have gained a great deal of experience over 23 years working in various environments, such as educational settings, emergency shelters, child and youth mental health, adult and youth addiction programs, housing programs, and in private practices. These experiences have broadened my perspective and refined my ability to customize the approach I take to address the unique needs of each person, couple, or family I’m working with.

Whether you are navigating parenting, anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, or trying to navigate a world not always built for ADHD and Autistic minds, I’m here to offer a space that respects your lived experience and celebrates the human behind the journey.
